Managing Director - Alex Fraser
Peter Murphy joined Alex Fraser Group (a Heidelberg Materials company) in 1996, holding senior positions before being appointed General Manager in 2002 and then Managing Director in 2010.
As General Manager of Alex Fraser, Peter learned from complex projects across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia. He oversaw the expansion of a large network of recycling and asphalt facilities and continues to apply the best of these global insights to our recycling business.
Peter holds qualifications in Logistics and Operations Management and Commerce, with a Dean’s Commendation from the University of Southern Queensland. He also completed the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
