Phil Schacht

Phil Schacht is a proven business leader, holding having held several senior executive management positions throughout across Australia and overseas in the concrete and aggregates industries. Joining Heidelberg Materials in 1988, Phil was the served as Country Manager for Malaysia and Singapore and Managing Director of Aggregates and Asphalt in the UK before returning to Australia in 2009 to take up the role of Regional General Manager.

Phil was appointed Chief Executive of Heidelberg Materials Australia on 1 February 2016.

Phil holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining Engineering) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of New South Wales. He is a director of Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia, Studio Schools Australia, Cement Australia, Penrith Lakes Development Corporation and Heidelberg Materials Australia group companies.
