Innovative water management at Dubbo Concrete Plant, NSW

Our sites are dedicated to reducing town water consumption and associated costs by exploring sustainable alternatives, such as utilising natural water sources like rooftop rainwater harvesting.

At the Dubbo concrete plant, we’ve implemented a rainwater harvesting system that captures water from our 560m² roof.  Storing the rainwater and mixing it with town water in a 90,000-litre tank allows us to use the water for concrete production and all plant needs.

This initiative is projected to save between 60,000 and 80,000 litres of town water each month, significantly reducing costs while relying more on harvested rainwater.

Our sustainable approach not only conserves valuable water resources but also supports our commitment to environmental responsibility.
