Ian Hedges joined Heidelberg Materials Australia (formerly Hanson Australia) in 2006 as the General Manager People & Culture.
Ian has extensive leadership experience within the construction materials and mining industry and has held several senior executive positions. Prior to joining Heidelberg, Ian worked in senior executive roles, including General Manager of Human Resources, managing global teams in the mining, building products and paper manufacturing sectors.
In 2003, Ian moved back to Australia from Norway as the Manager of Human Resources for a global building materials company, supporting operations in Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines. Ian Hedges holds an Electrical and Electronic Diplomas, plus an MBA from Wollongong University.
